Absolutely loved the 3 course menu and the quality. Daily changing menus - local. Great tasting food. I had the wine pairing which was also very reasonable. Chef was also very accommodating to change the mains (steak to duck confit for my pregnant daughter) which speaks volumes for the service and passion level for customer experience.

We loved it! My fiance and I had dinner here for his birthday, and it was fantastic. Both the food and the service were excellent. While making the reservation, I mentioned in a note that we were celebrating a birthday, and they brought out our dessert with a candle and celebrated with us—it was so thoughtful and sweet. We asked for a wine recommendation, and they paired it perfectly with our food. My favorite dish was the beef tongue, which practically melted in my mouth, while my fiance loved the halibut. Considering the quality and portions of the food, along with their warm service and cozy ambiance, it was surprisingly affordable. We’ll definitely be back!

Mijote is such a wonderful restaurant! This is a fixed four-course meal, and the menu changes every week. Every course was excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the lamb loin and the octopus (which was an add-on for us). The chef told us he cooked it by combining techniques he learned from his Spanish friend and his grandma. The restaurant atmosphere is cozy and lively. I highly recommend!

Has been on our want to go list for a while! Cozy, somewhat casual ambiance. Knowledgeable wait staff. All of their wines are natural or low intervention which was great for us. The tasting menu was definitely enough food even without adding any of the extra plates. Overall the food was very good: as a pescatarian I had 3 fish dishes. We enjoyed every dish but I wouldn’t say our minds were blown. That said, we will be back for special occasions!

dinner and a show! except the show is watching the chefs at mijote work the line. really excellent experience here - i came in with mixed expectations.... expecting to mostly feel like i overpaid. that wasn’t the case at all. while the menu is set with no room for variation (except adding a few dishes) it did not feel cafeteria style. the ingredients were seasonal, flavours were balanced, textures varied. certain ingredients were not those i’d choose for myself on a regular a la carte menu (eg. lamb loin) but i’m glad i was forced to take a different direction. it was nice to enjoy the same food with everybody else at the restaurant that night. standouts were the carrot soup (amuse buche). so rich in cream, yet so sweet and carroty. normally i find the carrot just fades away into nothingness - but here it was white special. the dungeness crab with fuji apple was another favourite. the scallop with celeriac (my favourite ingredient, really!) and the dessert was AMAZING. feta ice cream with mandarin. YUM. will be back in a new season, excited to try what’s in store for me then. thanks mijote!

Amazing food and wine! (Espanol abajo) The pre-fixed menu was absolutely lovely. The fish and the lamb were exquisite, and the veggies and sauce complete the dishes perfectly. It is clear that the chef has a vision and passion poured in each plate. The list of natural wines has so many options. We tried a very tasty wine from Alsace!. The service was very welcoming and professional. La comida y el vino fabulosa! Recomiendo 100 %. Los vinos naturales son increibles. El personal muy atento, dejense recomendar!. El chef es genial y se ve que le pone pasion a los que hace.

Had our wedding anniversary here. Totally delicious and would recommend! Plates are fewer but larger portions so you still get your money's worth. Reservations are recommended/almost required.
